Many, many thanks to all my friends at Hilltown CDC and their special guest Representative Steve Kulik (@repstevekulik) for a wonderful evening on May 3. At Hilltown’s annual meeting I was honored to receive the very first “Felicity Hardee” community service award for my years working with Hilltown in developing and financing affordable rural
housing. I was especially pleased and honored to receive from Representative Kulik a proclamation congratulating me on my years of counsel to Hilltown CDC. I found all of this very overwhelming since I am the one indebted to the organization for having had the opportunity to work on so many interesting and important projects over the years. It was a very special night and I was deeply touched to have been recognized by all my friends and colleagues from the hilltowns. A big shout out, too to Bread Euphoria since the meeting ended with my winning a loaf of their fantastic bread in what can only be characterized as a lottery free-for-all managed (sort of) by Dave Christopolis. Thanks again, everyone for a wonderful evening.
Now all that is needed is funding for the Goshen Senior Housing project. Looking forward to positive news from the Department of Housing and Community Development later this year!
